SCAN ME, I’M FAMOUS

Free time is so hard to find these days, literally. Come to think of it, I have been working my ass off every single f*cking day of my life for the past few months. I have a job from Mondays until Fridays and another career on weekends. So basically, I am working hard every moment of my life on every particular (Lawd, have mercy!) day.

Thus, just the joy and smile on your face when you know that this weekend will all be yours. I SWEAR! I will be hypocrite if I say that I am so happy about the protests, rallies, chaos, and lo and behold, the shutting down of the government office on Monday; hence, the rescinding of my job over the weekend in Bangkok. For whatever it may sounded like but truth be told, I am at my happiest this moment.

Woke up half past 11 in the morning to the smell of Adobong Manok prepared by Dominique (and now, he is cooking Afritada as we talk); Jeff did the market, and of course, I took my role as a connoisseur in food tasting. LOL

BIRTHDAY BOY

As some of you know, 10 days ago, I celebrated my 22nd birthday with the closest people in my life (given the fact that I am living in a foreign country). I am the type of well-organized and ardent-detailed person in planning for my birthday celebrations. Name it, from exclusive over-the-top bar parties to 20th gay(de)but to 21st debonair, all of those was perfectly planned and turned out to be very successful. I just like to man my own party rather than relying unto someone else’s. It makes me know more the outcome basing on how much percent I give in organizing it. But at this time, I just let it go. And guess what? t’was by far the most unplanned birthday party yet the most wicked one!

With that, your gayest bestfriend’s natal day won’t be concluded without having its annual birthday shoot! ENJOY!

WORK B*TCH

One of my intimate passions in life is travelling. I really do love to travel. And I quote, “So, young person, travel. Travel wide and far. Travel boldly. Travel with full abandon.” end of quote. I couldn't agree more to Mr. Jeff Goins of goinswriter.com. True enough that we, young people, should travel the world, take the risks, explore the horizons, discover new things, and just get lost somewhere. It is because, with these experiences, we tend to grow, to fall in love, and to show respect to anyone whom we will encounter along the journey called life.

BUT (YES! very big but), being your gayest bestfriend, the more I travel, the more I shop, and the more I love it. Dilemma comes in when packing and unpacking tend to come in between. Why on earth do we really have to pack and unpack? I just couldn't understand this phenomenon or even this kind of behavior. I hate it! Most especially, when you have better things to do rather than pack your things up and starting to get some problems how to pack. Hideous!

Abraham knows when I left Philippines, I only had 7 kilograms weighed of a hand-carry bag (one set of formal wear, a fixed casual wear, a regular sleep wear, and trust me, one pair of shoes). After sinfully living in Bangkok for about two months, I moved to Ubon Ratchathani where is 9 hours away from Bangkok carrying two big bags. Now that I am flying back to Bangkok, I just don’t know what happened; my things multiplied all by themselves (don’t blame me, please!). They just started to sprout anywhere inside my room and lo & behold, from one pair of shoes, now, I am using nine pairs! For almost four months in Thailand, I can’t believe what crime I just did.

OLD GOOD BABIES TO CENTRAL WORLD

If there is one thing I should confess by now, it would be that I am gay. HAHA. I kid. I kid. I kid. Okay fine, I may be brand conscious at times but not all the time because I’d rather purchase a stylish bag than buy a fake one. I mean, you know the drill, gawjuss; one must not hail the beauty of imitation!

Speaking of which, once you buy an authentic designer item, could be a bag, shoes, glasses, and even clothes, you know for sure that they are built to last for a lifetime which justifies why they are pretty expensive. Just like everything on these photos and when I say everything, I mean, from head to toe; from Sunglasses by Mango to Alta Moda by Egay Ayag’s Formal-Patterned Suit to Balenciaga Bag to Tommy Hilfiger Socks to Mango Shoes. EVERYTHING IS ALL WORTH A PENNY FOR INVESTMENT! AND SEE? YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO BUY SOME THING NEW EVERY NOW AND THEN!

Thus, I took my old good babies for a spin to Thailand’s Central World Shopping Mall!

Wachu say, gawjuss? Come on, think of it! Why would you invest on something that you know it's not genuine? Just sayin’.

LABOR OF LOVE

As some of you know, I just had most of my garments, bag, and accessories went off giving to my loved ones and below is a video on how it was meant to be distributed. I am swearing to Moses that the person in the video you are about to see is a man trap in a gayest body! HAHA.

SATISFY YOUR THIRST

My six months in Cebu Trimark Ventures, Incorporated – Mango, have been very fulfilling. From my all-encompassing training in Manila, traveling city to city every single day to reaching my dreams by attending Philippine Fashion Week, Manila Fame, prima events to being photographed for certain magazines to my first-ever television exposure to conquering Queen City and living the best of things that life has to offer. EVERYTHING WAS NOTHING BUT ALL MAJOR!

But anyhow, as I always say, once you are already not growing anymore, it's time to let it go and move forward! After all, THERE IS MORE TO LIFE! So here I am, wearing sweater and a pair of shorts (I must admit, I miss flashing short shorts), wondering what's the next step ready to be taken by your gayest best friend.

JOVITZ CADIGAL AS VISUAL MERCHANDISER & WINDOW DRESSER IN MANGO IS NOW SIGNING OFF

Inhale...Exhale. SURPRISE!

Well, dreaming doesn't just stop once you already landed unto your dream job. In fact, while you are so busy doing your passion, you tend to dream bigger! True enough that my experiences in this company have been very rewarding. I am so beholden having had the opportunity to work for such a very fast growing retail company but after sunset, you incline to ask yourself; do I really love Mango as a company or just a brand?

justjovitz_JOVITZ CADIGAL AS VISUAL MERCHANDISER & WINDOW DRESSER IN MANGO IS NOW SIGNING OFF

My memories in this company will never be forgotten. The skills I have learned both in visual merchandising as well as in window dressing will be of great value to me in my career. Though I only have a very short stay in Mango, think of a 250ml bottle of perfume which has never been fully consumed until this day since I started working, I already have heaps of basic cognitive process both professionally and as an individual.

To my Mango Family, thank you for everything and may our paths will still cross in the future and by then, we gonna rock the house down by partying all night long!

MERCI BEAU COUP!

MOVED IN

As we speak right now, my dearest gawjuss readers, I am currently taking my 8th Tylenol 650mgs tablet. For Christ sake, I only get sick once in a blue moon but MAJOR! YES! It may be just tonsillitis though, it goes with it difficulty in swallowing (I hate my friends who give other meaning of this), ear pain, chills, and lo & behold, FEVER! I HATE BEING SICK…I AM SO UNPRODUCTIVE (well, two consecutive days of window dressing is unbelievable nevertheless). Hope everything will be fine by sunrise.

Anyhow, as some of you know, I already moved in to my new place. It’s peaceful, clean, located at the heart of the city, and YES! it’s simple and I love the simplicity of it! Two nights and three days of living alone (literally) is quite hard but everything and everyone starts from scratch. So, let’s just take it from there. It may be hard but I am learning and oh, needless to mention, much happier now.
