MAJOR DEPRESSION      

As you have all notice, I am now suffering, this may sound too over acting, but seriously, at this time, it's so deadly, YES! I am suffering from a major depression. That's why I need a break from spotlight, from on line world, from outs, from everything. I just want to reflect, to see things clearly as they should be (I am already 22 years old and I am not getting any younger), to breathe in and out, and of course, to pray.

I know God sees everything.

I am still receiving your emails, calls, and messages. Don't worry, I read them.

I'll be back right after, maybe, a week.

On it's 4th time, YES!, I'm having a garale sale! JUMP! HAHA. During this fun & cray cray thing, I am disposing my men's collection. YES! So, prepare your pockets because our clothes and other things (such as television, refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machines, cabinets, etc.; I kid. I kid. I kid. HAHA) are all ready!

OKAY FINE. You got me, Karl! Actually, I'm not that totally choosy. ALL I WANT IS YOUR STAR STRAIGHT ON MY FACE --- Chanel's iconic interlocking C's placed underneath the eye on beauty mark fashion during the Chanel Cruise 2013 at  Palace of Versailles. That's it!

CHANEL CRUISE COLLECTION 2013   

It's fun, it's blue, it's sunny, it's playful, and it's Chanel! Mama Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel Cruise Collection 2013 took place just last day of 14th of May at the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. Alright. Enough about the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere yesterday. HAHA.

Leave it to Karl when you a wanna see a full pack of powerful front row crowd:  Vanessa Paradis, Tilda Swinton, Caroline Sieber and Alice Dellal graced the gardens of Versailles in their head-to-toe Chanel pieces!

GISELE BUNDCHEN FOR PARIS VOGUE JUNE 2012 COVER

Alright. I am floating right now not because it's already around 02:33 o'clock in the morning and I am still wide awake and I got a lot of fashion commitments later but because of Gisele Bundchen covers Paris Vogue wearing only a bikini, a bottom bikini! 

She's hot! She's hot! She's hot! Nothing follows...

IF YOU GOT HEELS, COVER IT WITH SWAROVSKI      

I know. I know. I know. Since, Pierre Hardy's Dapperama started it, let's continue talking about shoes. HAHA. This year, in celebration of the 60 years of reign of Queen Elizabeth II, London honors her, OF COURSE! Even designer Vivienne Westwood, watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre and the department store Harrods pay tribute to her. And now, Nicholas Kirkwood created an extravagant model in high heel bedazzled with a mask and covered with crystals Swarovski as a homage to the queen!

Since this shoe is limited edition, again, will be sold exclusively at the boutique Nicholas Kirkwood London, from June 2.

It's gorgeous, no? I'm in love with this pair of heels that some how looks like a spoiled-brat princess acting 'i  exactly don't care about yer dress, girl' while attending a Masquerade Ball with over the top gloss of a red lipstick! HAHA.

CANIBAD EXPERIENCE x 20th BIRTHDAY      

YES! Jovelon Ray Gabac also celebrated his 20th birthday when we headed to Canibad. Actually, t'was the reason why we went out! HAHA. So, festive and neutral colors filled the afternoon, vodka and tequila fired up the night and a beautiful sunrise nailed our memorable memories in Canibad, Island Garden City of Samal!

SCHIAP'S 12 COMMANDMENTS   

I just can't get enough about the rebirth of the fashion house Elsa Schiaparelli, 1927, this coming July at the same address where the designer once had: 21 Place Vendome in a 1^st district of Paris. It truly goes down through my veins hearing news like this, it seems that legendary fashion icons/designers have taken back the spotlight.

Below, is the Elsa Schiaparelli's 12 commandments for women she has written down:

1. Since most women do not know themselves they should try to do so.

2. A woman who buys an expensive dress and changes it, often with disastrous result, is extravagant and foolish.

3. Most women (and men) are color-blind. They should ask for suggestions.

4. Remember-twenty percent of women have inferiority complexes. Seventy percent have illusions. 

5. Ninety percent are afraid of being conspicuous, and of what people will say. So they buy a gray suit. They should dare to be different.

6. Women should listen and ask for competent criticism and advice.

7. They should choose their clothes alone or in the company of a man.

8. They should never shop with another woman, who sometimes consciously or unconsciously, is apt to be jealous.

9. She should buy little and only of the best or cheapest.

10. Never fit a dress to the body, but train the body to fit the dress.

11. A woman should buy mostly in one place where she is known and respected, and not rush around trying every new fad. 

12. And she should pay her bills.

And now, as highlighted above, I am totally agreeing with numbers 5, 9, 10, 11, and 12, don't you?

REBIRTH OF THE HOUSE SCHIAPARELLI    

Lo and behold, Businessman Diego Della Valle announced on just last week (7th of May 2012) that he will be in control of the project of having the house of Schiaparelli be reborn from its ashes. YES! The fashion house will indeed open in July at the same address where the designer once had: 21 Place Vendome in a 1^st district of Paris. Della Valle is the man behind the revival of Roger Vivier footwear and perfume. 


Elsa Schiaparelli was very known for her Surreal eccentricities and her trademark color, the purple-tinged magenta she dubbed “shocking pink,” but in fashion terms, “she changed the outline of fashion from soft to hard, from vague to definite,” in the words of Vogue’s mid-century fashion editor Bettina Ballard.

In 1927, Elsa Schiaparelli opened her boutique on fashionable Rue de la Paix. Her success was meteoric; by 1932, she had a staff of 400 working in eight ateliers to produce up to 8,000 garments a year. WOW!

The Italian fashion designer (and Coco Chanel rival) brought conceptual fashion to the masses in the 1930s with collections that drew heavily on the Surrealist art movement for inspiration. According to Ballard, she “never wanted to be bored by her business or to bore her customers” and was facing bankruptcy, she shuttered her doors in 1954. and was facing bankruptcy. Archrival Coco Chanel derisively described Schiap as “that Italian artist who makes clothes,” and Schiap would not have been insulted by the designation. “Dress designing . . . is to me not a profession but an art,” she wrote. 

Elsa Schiaparelli inspired countless fashion designers like Galliano, McQueen, Gaultier and Yves Saint Laurent. 

Farida Khelfa will be the brand ambassadress and for the name of the new designer the it was not until October 2012 shall be announced but the names of John Galliano, Rodolfo Paglialunga and Jean Paul Gaultier are now floating!

Oh my, Jovitz! This gonna be another historical event in the world of Fashion! So, if you live nearby 21 Place Vendome in a 1^st district of Paris, don't forget to witness the opening of new premises.

CHRYSANTHEMUMS     

Prints, floral, and pastels are just few of those spring and summer pieces we have seen on runway from fashion week and I am just so delighted when friends of mine, Jordan and Bianca, had their garage sale. Actually, they had it way back months ago and I just can't find time to spin this floral top I got from Bianca's closet. For heaven's sake, it's summer! So, I guess I need to take this around for the second time, YES! the first time was at Boracay Island.

MET COSTUME INSTITUTE GALA 2012     

Remember my last post about the “Impossible Conversations” of Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada? YES! T'was, indeed, the most powerful spring blockbuster exhibition ever celebrated in the history of the Museum of Art. 

Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala 2012 held just last 7th of this month at the Museum of Art, organized by one and only consequential woman, Anna Wintour, Vogue US editor-in-chief. The red carpet was flourished with so many stars from the world of fashion and cinema industry dressed well by fashion designers who were also present in the event and of course, runway pieces from the Fashion Week.

Inhale, exhale, this gonna be a sumptuous buffet for the fashion eyes:

KATHLEEN'S PLACE

It has been roughly two years ago when I saw my friend's photos beautifully captured at Canibad, Island Garden City of Samal. Since then, I have been longing to visit the place. Thank God, finally, I got an opportunity to come and enjoy the beauty of Canibad. 

Late afternoon of Saturday (05 May), we headed to Island Garden City of Samal for a sweet escape from a busy life around the city; Jeffrey and Jovelon are caught up with the demands of their clients in fashion, bf tends to become workaholic thus, needing him to beat the deadlines and work with the backlogs, and yours truly, busy pampering myself and of course, entertaining you with my humble blog.

In veracity, we wanted to try the Dayang Beach Resort in Talicud Island but then again, since we already checked in at the barge arriving at Ferry Port in Camp Holiday, we saw this map that tells every beach resorts they offer in town, so, without any thought, we jumped to conclusion that we are having Jovelon's 20th beach birthday party and bf and I's first beach escapade, to Canibad!

Never mind #40. HAHA. The map is not updated! How's that? HAHA. Anyway, Kathleen's Place is probably, the most beautiful resort with in the vicinity of Canibad, Island Garden City of Samal, I must say. With its all-white resting house infrastructure and only three exquisite cottages where you can stay for a couple of days and tent rentals for backpackers, it is the place to be for those people who want to enjoy intimacy, fresh water, good atmosphere vibes, well-maintained milieu, and a beautiful sunrise.
