ANG TRIBU BAGOBO WOODLANDS
What would you do if you are initially given ₱26M? YES! Prolly, I'll be investing it on my own eponymous fashion line, go to Paris, hire five gorgeous body guards, and build a rest house over seeing Niagara Falls! Lord, have mercy!
Over the weekend, I was humbly invited over to witness an opening of mountain view resort. Just like many of us, Madame Nene Abajero, invested her money after decades of working abroad into some thing where she can just sit down, relax, and say, "WOW!".
Ang Tribu Bagobo Woodlands approximately covers ten hectares where you can enjoy three tiered swimming pools with breathtaking views; an entertainment center where you can enjoy singing all day long while your other play mates enjoying Wii and billiard ball games; an on-going beautification of function house with high level of technology over the top of mountain; culturing Australian Flowers inside their Green House; a souvenir shoppe loaded with Andy Warhol memorabilia and Maxwell & Williams coffee mugs at a very very affordable prices; and my mind was blown away staying at the over looking camp site with so big family tents! Mind you, they already incorporated Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) on the entire resort and flat screens were provided in each family cottage and the place was secured with a 24-Hour CCTV operation!
This upland resort is located at Sitio Mahayag, Barangay Binaton, 13 kilometers away from Digos City. The fact that this is already situated along the foot land as natural park of Mt. Apo, expect the cool breeze, humming birds will greet you, and the majestic view of nature as if you are entering a magical world of fairies!
The best thing about this resort is that it will help you comprehend the beautiful culture of the Bagobos.

I tried this very strong and black coffee beans from Davao which is an export quality. Well, let's just say, I am not totally a fan of strong coffee but at least, I tried. After all, how can I compare both tastes, right? Thoughts?

To be really honest with you, my gorgeous readers, I experienced the second most magical feeling of my life ever (first was the snorkeling at Balicasag Island in Bohol) and at this time, the firefly watching at night which was the highlight event of the resort. Trust me, t'was like you are taking a major part as one of the cast and characters of Avatar, t'was glowing everywhere!
Having said that, this resort will be completed soon with an on-going research facility for the study of fireflies headed by Terrence A. Lynch, Naturalist a.k.a. Dr. Firefly of the United States of America. Also, this is a memorial foundation dedicated to the parents of Remedios Abajero, Project Director of ATBW.
It is a place where I would choose escaping from the busy living and noise of the city! And oh, I must not forget that they have the most comfortable couch, EVER! The experience was just so priceless!

EXCLUSIVE LUNCH
I have been hearing some positive feed backs about this place for quite some time now after its opening on the 8th of August last year. So, my girls (Samantha & Angel) and I headed to Zabs Buffet Restaurant. It is located along Paseo de Roxas, Roxas Avenue, Davao City, Davao del Sur.

Since Chippens Restaurant was relocated after it transferred last year, Zabs Buffet now occupies the space.

CANIBAD EXPERIENCE x 20th BIRTHDAY
YES! Jovelon Ray Gabac also celebrated his 20th birthday when we headed to Canibad. Actually, t'was the reason why we went out! HAHA. So, festive and neutral colors filled the afternoon, vodka and tequila fired up the night and a beautiful sunrise nailed our memorable memories in Canibad, Island Garden City of Samal!

In case you are wondering why we left earlier before lunch time, t'was because bf and I had to catch up another commitment out of town around 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon.

It has been roughly two years ago when I saw my friend's photos beautifully captured at Canibad, Island Garden City of Samal. Since then, I have been longing to visit the place. Thank God, finally, I got an opportunity to come and enjoy the beauty of Canibad.
Late afternoon of Saturday (05 May), we headed to Island Garden City of Samal for a sweet escape from a busy life around the city; Jeffrey and Jovelon are caught up with the demands of their clients in fashion, bf tends to become workaholic thus, needing him to beat the deadlines and work with the backlogs, and yours truly, busy pampering myself and of course, entertaining you with my humble blog.
In veracity, we wanted to try the Dayang Beach Resort in Talicud Island but then again, since we already checked in at the barge arriving at Ferry Port in Camp Holiday, we saw this map that tells every beach resorts they offer in town, so, without any thought, we jumped to conclusion that we are having Jovelon's 20th beach birthday party and bf and I's first beach escapade, to Canibad!
Never mind #40. HAHA. The map is not updated! How's that? HAHA. Anyway, Kathleen's Place is probably, the most beautiful resort with in the vicinity of Canibad, Island Garden City of Samal, I must say. With its all-white resting house infrastructure and only three exquisite cottages where you can stay for a couple of days, tent rentals for backpackers, and a clean kitchen where you can freely use every facility you want, YES! even the casseroles! HAHA. It is the place to be for those people who want to enjoy intimacy, fresh water, good atmosphere vibes, well-maintained milieu, and a beautiful sunrise.
"Kathleen's place is for those people who want to enjoy the beach without so much noise, who want to have privacy, comfort with clean water and beautiful sunrise" says Guenter Lang, a German Nationality married to a Filipina and having three gorgeous children who recently reside at Woodridge Park Subdivision, Ma-a, Davao City.
The land property was already owned by Mr. Lang about five years ago and it took him two years to put his visions and dreams in reality. Now, he is in pursuit of having a website that would cater the needs and inquiries of the visitors who wanted to have prior reservations.

I am totally overwhelmed by the great hospitality of Mr. Guenter Lang who wanted to have my photos being published on their website. How's that? sounds totally great for me, eh! Over all, I had a blast weekend with bf, Jeffrey, and Jovelon, 'til next time around!
