GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST FASHION SHOW ON EARTH     

Inhale. Exhale…

OH MY GOSH! Celebrities, press, VIPs, magazine editors, investors, models, Jaime Zodel de Ayala, and of course, your gayest bestfriend were all present during the making of another most historical event, THE BIGGEST FASHION SHOW THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN!

The call time for all the models, handlers, celebrities, and fashion stylists was at 8 o’clock in the morning. Hence, overnight staying at my trainer’s apartment was such a good idea since I am taking 2-3 hours travelling away from home. The sun was about to rise when I started the day. I was full awake 14 hours starting from the models’ registration to hair and make-up up to breaking the world record late in the evening. As part of the exclusive company clothing brand which I am currently on training, t’was such a big privileged working with Mr. Dong Olmedo styling up the professional models from garments to accessories down to foot wears representing pompously the brand!

The show was directed by ever dynamic Robbie Carmona and Jacky, hosted by Miss Bianca Gonzales and Billy Crawford, and graced by thousands and thousands of individuals taking slice of the history.

The crowd fronting the stage was really insane. So, along with Miss Karla Magno (Assistand Brand Manager), Mr. Dong Olmedo (Fashion Stylist), and Miss Angela Ortega (Marketing Executive of [MP] Maquillage Professionnel School of Make Up Artistry as the make up sponsor of the exclusive company) we just stayed at the VERY VERY VIP Lounge of the New Glorietta Vibe having the tattoo black live coverage as we took a chunk of this huge event! Seriously, t’was like watching live telecast of Formula 1 inside the VIP area. ASTOUNDING!

Mind you, t’was the MOST MOMENTOUS EVENT OF MY CAREER!

BEATING THE WORLD RECORD     

Styling events have been so good to me these past few days during my exclusive training here in Manila with an international clothing brand. I believe that as holidays are fast approaching, more styling events to attend to on which on my part was just a dream when I was still a little girl. Okay fine. A little boy. ALRIGHT.  Easy. A little gay child. Happy now? HAHA.

What sets this styling event apart from my previous styling jobs – first was during the fashion editorial styling for Cosmopolitan Magazine and the second one was for Shangri-la Plaza Fashion Show – is that the New Glorietta Vibe aims to beat the Guinness World Record for the Most People Modeling on a Catwalk. YES! They are targeting to surpass EXPRESS (NYSE: EXPR) which took over Times Square in New York City by opening the catwalk to the public prior to a live runway show featuring the new Holiday 2011 Collection; with an astounding 1,243 people walking the runway!

BRICK WALL    

I was on my second week here in Manila when my assigned area was just at the heart of the metro. I had a late lunch with my ever supportive, motherly attitude, and print on print on print fashion statement trainer, Mr. Dong Olmedo near our training place. But before heading out, I saw this wide panel walled bricks that gave me an instant feeling of classic and elegance architectural establishment.

So, with my frisky and free-spirited outfit for the day, I made sure I must be photographed with it having the bricked wall as my archetypal background! HAHA.

JAMBA JUICE     

I arrived an hour earlier than my expected call time during one of my exclusive training days at Bonifacio Global City. Since, the store is not yet opened until 11 o’clock in the morning at Bonifacio High Street; I treated myself at Jamba Juice! Lawd, thank you for letting the strawberries grow on this planet earth! Strawberries Wild is the best classic smoothie I ever tasted paired with Parmesan Pretzel? Oh, what a great way to start the day right!

FAMOUS SALON AND COFFEE SHOP     

I’m not gonna lie. I am very unambiguous when it comes to my hair styling. Well, some of you know how I truly pay so much time and put on fire my pocket just to have a good one. I have been to a lot of salons in Davao wherein I already mentioned on my previous posts but then again, as I always say, I really don’t mind the name of the salon, I go for the magical hands and skills of the hairstylist, it is just happened that my stylist way back in Davao City works for big names in hair styling.

Anyway, it has been two months since I had my hair cut and YES! that was in Davao. HAHA. But ladies and gays, the moment I saw the advertisement of this salon on a magazine donned  by celebrities trusted in the name of hair styles, I already know where to go to have my first ever salon therapy in the metro of Manila.

HAPPY SEVENTH BLOGSARY     

Greetings from Philippines, my gawjuss readers! YES! We are now celebrating our seven months of being together and humbly welcoming me into your life as your gayest bestfriend! HAHA. How fast time flies, eh? Well they say, once you are enjoying doing things you truly love, you will never notice that it’s already dusk ‘til dawn. AND I LOVE WHAT I AM DOING!

TRAVEL PERIOD EXTENDED     

YES! Yesterday marked my first holy month of having my exclusive training here in Manila and as per contract I signed with the high-class company, it has supposed to end last day but the promo of long trip is extended until 28^th of November! OMG! More days to enjoy my vacation! HAHA. I kid. I kid. I kid. 

In veracity, well, some of you already know that I am dealing with two departments, one of which was during the first two weeks of the training and the latter department was taken for the duration of the last two weeks. Now, I have to polish everything to the best of my ability to be of expertise on the other department which I guess the main reason of my extension.

Having said that, look what just arrived today! My extra clothes, bags, and shoes from Davao City since I only brought clothes enough for just a month so, I let them forwarded the garments here in Manila. HAHA.

More runways to walk and best of the best outfits to be worn!

CULTURE SHOCK     

I love travelling, I really do. I always make it sure that once I landed on a new place; I should…must…need to pay a visit to, at least, one Catholic Church. But due to my hectic itinerary, I can’t hear holy masses, only visitation. Of course, it’s not gotta be about hearing holy masses rather it is the genuine faith that matters.

Anyhow, three more days and I am already a month old here in Manila. Okay fine. Due to my frenzied exclusive training schedules, I wasn't able to hear holy mass on my first weekend but thank God, He let me discovered the beautiful-environmental friendly catholic chapel found at the heart of Greenbelt Community. There I had my confession and talked to God.

It was just yesterday, YES! Don’t judge me now, I finally attended holy mass. It was actually refreshing to hear mass in a new milieu. I mean, new priest, new neighborhood, new atmosphere, and for the record, new culture! The priest along with the church goers used very deep Tagalog language. For an instance, Sambayanan Niyang Banal – His Most Holy Church and San Gabriel ng Ina ng Hapis – St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows. Mind you, even panggatong - utensils. Imagine? All throughout the holy mass my brain was like farting. For heaven’s sake, I was having headaches after absorbing all the profound words like a sponge. It was so deep that I almost can’t understand and my tongue is too stiff to pronounce such language! CULTURE SHOCKED!

Lo & behold, MY FIRST EVER MAGAZINE EXPOSURE!!! OMG! I NEED A NEBULIZER!!!

Everything went so fast that day during the Day 4 of Philippine Fashion Week. While I was chatting with Mr. Dong Olmedo at the VIP Lounge, a group of three individuals wearing their avant-garde outfits approached and asked me if they can have a photograph of your gayest bestfriend and of course, the outfit I was wearing and believe it or not, I said, YES! HAHA.

HAPPY NOVEMBER     

Moses knows that I really do try my best to manage my effin time but as my exclusive training goes by, it becomes more tough and hectic. Haven’t slept more than five hours on weekdays (well, thanks to holidays for reminding me that I am still human) and been battling every single day just not to be late before my call time, think about leaving home 3 hours right before the clock ticks for my early in the morning schedules.  HUH!

Anyhow, I have been here in Manila for more than three weeks now, how fast time flies, eh.  And I am totally enjoying my exclusive training. Though you can’t really say that schedules are as comfortable as you want them to be but lo & behold, I am taking sacrifices and putting so much effort to have tremendous and incomparable evaluation.
