SM MEN'S FASHION     

Long before, SM Department Store (one of the country’s top leading shopping malls) has only one designer entitled to market its retail clothing line but God sent a memorandum to the head of the team stipulating that they should evacuate the fashion industry if such obnoxious practices still operating. Fashion police to the rescue!

Now, known for its dramatic change of line over the night, SM Men’s Fashion has evolved into a more exquisite ready-to-wear garments. Presenting the spring summer 2013 fashion collection of SM men’s fashion, Louis Claparols for Markus, Ivarluski Aseron for Coco Republic, Rajo Laurel for W by Rajo, Rhett Eala for Main Street, Frederick Peralta for Michel Andre, Randy Ortiz for Uberto Duranti, and Jovitz Cadigal for Jovitz by Jovitz Cadigal! JUSTJOVITZ ATTENDS PHILIPPINE FASHION WEEK SS 2013     

The dream of every fashion enthusiast all over the archipelago, the event of the year in fashion industry, the most awaited gathering of prominent fashion designers and celebrities, the one and only, Philippine Fashion Week!

I’m not gonna lie. I was teary-eyed when I first stepped my foot on the red carpet. That was it, my first ever fashion week experience!

All of these great opportunities are not happening without the power and access of country’s one of the top fashion stylists, Mr. Dong Olmedo, who is also my on-the-job trainer.  To you, sir, I know you are reading my humble blog, a million thanks! I guess an Aztec printed shirt from Israel is not yet enough to express my gratitude to you but nevertheless thank you for everything!

MANLA FAME 2012    

Are you an avid fan of exhibits? Well, I must say, I am! Attending exhibits is both mind-cultivating and culture moving.  Thus, when a good friend of mine whom I had the same flight going here in Manila, Junnie Artajo, invited me to visit his display during Manila Fame 2012, I gave my word.

Manila F.A.M.E. (Furnishings and Apparel Manufacturers' Exchange) International is a bi-annual trade show organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, the export promotions arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Last 17-20 October 2012, Manila FAME, Asia's Design and Lifestyle event, highlighted the Filipino artisans and their craftsmanship as the soul of the country for its 56^th edition.

God knows how Mr. Dong Olmedo (Visual Merchandising Head) and I squeezed out our time during breaks from training just to pay a visit to the event. Few personalities were seen like Boy Abunda (who looked at me head to toe), Mich Dulce, Amina Aranaz, Reese Fernandez-Ruiz, and Angel Aquino who did an interview with super brilliant Kenneth Cobonpue.

HAPPY SIXTH BLOGSARY     

I know it has been a week since I posted something really big pivoting 360 degrees of my life on this humble blog of your gayest bestfriend. Well, I must say, I am so active both on my twitter and facebook accounts and it’s only until now I managed to catch up on this blog. My apologies.

Anyhow, some of you know that I am here in Metro Manila, Philippines having my exclusive training. YES! It is as exclusive as one-on-one training.  Look, I don’t have co-trainees and I was blown away knowing that I will be the only one who will undergo such training for a month. No, seriously. I was petrified!

BUT HEY, JOVITZ! Our Almighty God won’t you give such challenge without even knowing you can handle it, right? May I see some rising of hands? GAME ON!

Henceforth, I am joggling up my schedules every single day both from work and knowing how to commute around Metro Manila. Think of travelling every day from city to city, shopping mall to shopping, and store to store. I tell you, it is not as easy as putting crayons tinting your favourite coloring book. I am facing a lot of challenges that make me realize until now; things are not the same anymore. Talk about handling bigger things (YES! Bigger than your fridge at home) at the age of 22! NOT THAT EASY BUT NOTHING BEATS A PERSON WHO IS VERY WILLING TO LEARN AND BEGINS TO GROW UP PROFESSIONALLY!!!

JUSTJOVITZ GOES ON TRAINING IN MANILA     

On a very short notice, YES, I am already here in Manila. I wish I can tell you this soon what I am up to. Well, of course, I am here for such an exclusive training but then again, I am still keeping things to myself not until it will be finally approved.

So, I am staying here for about a month and who knows what life will be after this. I am now experiencing amalgam of emotions. Excited, nervous, thrilled, privileged, happy, sad, floating, everything! EVERYTHING! The only thing I am holding on is that, since I want this, I will make every single effort and sacrifice just to get this!

DETOUR AHEAD, WHAT’S NEXT?     

Some of you have known me first before I started my humble blog, some of you met me when I was half way gaying through my blog, and maybe some of you just encountered this gayest bestfriend of yours recently. I don’t know. We actually don’t know because we are dealing and living virtually. Who knows? Maybe that gawjuss guy sitting next to you now only knows. HAHA.

Anyhow, it has been several months now since I am working as a freelance fashion designer and stylist. I love my work, I honestly do. Making clothes, dressing up VIPs for certain events, doing photo shoots, etc. I love everything about my work! BUT growing up professionally doesn’t just stop there and it shouldn’t be stopped. THERE IS MORE TO LIFE!

COFFEEWORKS    

Visiting beautiful places like Cagayan de Oro City isn’t complete without brewing at one of their best coffee shops in town, Coffeeworks! Thus, when everyone went crazy over the sales at Divisoria, there I go, dragging out my cousin Miichii just to bring me to this coffee shop which they have been talking about. Well, it’s not in Davao City so, might as well, I tried it.

I ordered venti size of Hazelnut Truffle. It tasted good! But what really surprised me aside from the good taste of my coffee, the people around who kept staring at you as if you killed just someone. No, don’t get me wrong. I mean, homosexuals looking straight trying to accompany you towards the comfort room and even gays wrote their numbers both on a table tissue paper or worst, raised up their iPads and tabs, showing their numbers! Lord, have mercy!

CDO: NO LIQUOR BAN     

One of the ultimate reasons why I love Cagayan de Oro City is, of course, no liquor ban! Okay fine. One of them also is super cheap shopping stores and okay, I’m gonna be honest, good looking straight individuals, too. Talk about basketball players. Oh, that tall, dark skinned, sweating from dribbling balls, nice balls, and needless to say, muscles, greatly formed muscles. HEY, bitch! We are talking about “no liquor ban” here. Stop fantasizing my boyfriend. HAHA. 

Anyhow, my cousin introduced me to her friends and my cousin’s friends led me to meet their friends of friends of friends and that night went so crazy inside the bar and you won’t like to hear what happened after party. HAHA.

JUSTJOVITZ STUDIES AT XAVIER     

After passing the board exam, Lord, a million thanks for that, I wanna study further. Some are actually, choosing medicine, some are studying law, and some are taking their dreams into studies. Me? Taking Masters in Ateneo de Cagayan University! YES!

Xavier University or AdCU is noted to produce great performing students both in academe and in extra-curricular activities. So, my passion in taking up masters in nursing boosted up high in enrolling myself in one of the most distinguished schools in the country.

THREE MEN     

These past few days, my trips to City of Palm Trees, Tagum, have been successive. No, seriously. I have been visiting the place like twice a week? See? That rampant! And now I realize, going there has never been this so fun and easy. YES! It’s just like going downtown! HAHA. Gosh! I love City of Tagum!

Now, during one of my stays there, I had the chance to do, well let’s say, prompt photo shoot with three men namely Enzui, CC, and Tammy. YES! The new men in my life!

We had this very fun shoot at their new and on-going construction of City Hall of Tagum. Mind you, it’s huge and the architectural design is beyond. Uhm. Hello, Davao? HAHA.

Being a photographer than being the subject throughout shoots like this is way too much exciting!

MARCO POLO HOTEL DAVAO     

I love hotels. Who doesn’t? Most especially staying there with all the suitcases, clothes, perfumes, toiletries, shoes, sunglasses, etc., you need.  It’s priceless!

I was just so lucky to be given by complimentary two-night stay in Marco Polo Hotel (well, thanks to my ever-supportive Tita Carmela) upon my arrival after gaying around beautiful out of town trips for two weeks. Call it perfect timing!

Now, what else would an Asian gay do like me if given this chance? BRING GAYNESS TO MARCO POLO HOTEL DAVAO! HAHA.
