How did you celebrate your Sinulog 2013, gawjuss? Well, as some of you know, I am currently here in Queen City of South, Cebu, being privately hired just to witness Sinulog 2013. HAHA. I kid. I kid. I kid. For the record, I can now say that I am a festival aficionado. Gone those times when I was so afraid being with a big crowd, I mean, be one of them; so scared of tremendously heat of the golden sun frying your skin, and most especially, the endless walking, standing, dancing on the streets, etc., they are just good memories now. After all, I’d rather say in the future, “OMG! I can’t believe I did that” rather than wishing I did those.

ROONEY MARA FOR US VOGUE 

FEBRUARY COVER     

Moving on from being phone mugged last Sinulog 2013, allow me to present the ever powerful magazine cover of Vogue February Issue. I love Rooney Mara. I really do, most especially, during her prevailing role in ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’. She was amazing there!

“It”s been very strange, jumping from one character to the next,” says Mara. “All four were very intense experiences. . . I really feel sometimes like those things are happening to me. Obviously they’re not. But it’s hard going from one to the next.”

And the most shocking news when she couldn’t bear to see herself on-screen in Dragon Tattoo and famously resisted until she went to a theater near Manhattan’s Union Square and bought a ticket with the general public but good thing her boyfriend, writer-director Charlie McDowell (the son of actors Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen), insisted on accompanying her. Imagine?

BLACKBERRY MUGGED 101^th X CEBU     

Okay. I’m not gonna lie. I must confess that when God, The Almighty Father, showered unacceptable-crazy-manner-gay-stupidity, I was at the front seat. For His’ sake, I have been losing phones for the nth time! Why oh why? What’s wrong with this foolishness?

YES! As Sinulog Festival 2013 celebrated last third weekend of this month, pick pockets and snatchers also rejoiced for taking this opportunity to take advantage to people like me who only occupies his mind by realizing how to walk gracefully amidst the crazy numbered of people around the vicinity without even knowing that a certain person from behind was already following your gayest bestfriend. TRUE! My three-month old BB attacked by one of very unforgiving (may his soul be blessed) pick pockets during Sunday night out. And to make things really worst, I just purchased load card and reactivated my BlackBerry Internet Service.

WOW! JUST WOW!

Please take me away from this insanity!

LIFEDANCE 2013     

I MUST SAY, THE MOST EXTRAVAGANZA MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE PHILIPPINES AND NOW TRYING TO MAP IT WORLD WIDE, LADIES & GAYS, WELCOME TO LIFEDANCE 2013, WHERE THE GOOD GUYS AT!

I have been seeing lots of promotional advertisements and print ad materials in town about this big event last night. So, it started with fueling up at the nearest MO2 Resto Bar where intake of Mojitos happened. When everything was already blurred out of my sight, Dohn and I headed to Life Dance 2013 at The Boardwalk, Mandaue City, Cebu, where the rest of the story now became a very notable event of my life!

Thought I’d share some beautiful memories during my stay in Manila. Just last month, we celebrated the most awaited annual get together – drink ‘til you drop – gimme that damn bottle of tequila – lick the salt, bitch – work that outfit – and SPELL G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S! YES! I’m talking about the annual Christmas Party of Mango Team Filipinas held at The Rockwell Tent, Makati City!

BASILICA DEL SANTO NIÑO     

There was no any other greater way to end the year right than visiting one of the nation’s oldest, I mean 16th century church, Basilica del Sto. Niño, here in Queen City of South. I tell you, the experience was like squatting on a cloud up to nowhere sky’s the limit…HEAVEN! T’was a renewing moment of commitment towards Our Almighty God, where everything seemed conspired to my emotions and feelings in the image of Santo Niño de Cebú, 'a sculpture depicting the Holy Child Jesus found by Spanish explorers in 1565 preserved in a burned wooden box which was left behind during the 1521 Magellan expedition.'

When was the last time you ever talked to someone via on line? May it be over facebook, yahoo, or skype?

Lo & behold my dear gawjuss readers, I just had my most overrated, infamous, shameful, and needless to mention, most degrading skype conversation ever last night!

NO! T’wasn’t pay-per-view cam to cam thingy where one undresses himself and mandates to do those nasty things and getting paid in bucks. Well, I love getting paid in bucks but not undressing my inglorious body on line! HAHA. I was talking to my long time no-see gay friends way back in Davao. For Christ’s sake, I couldn’t even remember so well when was the last time my  mama and I talked over skype and there you go, two of your gay friends, sitting in Gonuts Donuts while eating Taters (how ironic, I know!) enjoyed taking snapshots of my gayest reactions to death!

YES! Until now I still can’t get over Gwen Stefani, gracing Vogue US cover January issue.  It’s fresh, it’s gawjuss, it’s glamorous, it’s ambitious, it’s everything, and it’s excellently photographed by Annie Leibovitz!

Here, she talks about her life as she just turned 43 years of age proving that she is still, first lady of rock.

FORGET EVERYTHING BUT NOT THE KEY  

Whenever new year comes, I am just like anyone else. YES! Polka dotted outfit, coins inside the pockets, highest jump, red underwear, etc…FROM THINGS I WORN UP TO THINGS I PERFOMED. NAMED IT! EVERYTHING!  

First day of 2013, holiday, I had my day-off and it only happens rarely these days. So, THANK GOD, FINALLY I GOT TO REST MYSELF! Right after divulging yours truly into different dishes and sweets, I watched highly-intellectual documentary then, rested and woke up before lunch the next day.

Every new year’s day, I always, I repeat, always spend it with God. That is, of course, with the exemption of new year’s eve holy mass. It is because; it’s more than just a new year celebration, most significantly, the Solemnity of Mama Mary as Mother of God. Okay fine. Don’t say what you have in your mind now, I got it, don’t judge me. I won’t be your utmost gayest bestfriend if spiritual aspect of my life uproars. HAHA. TAKE THAT!

But my dear ladies and gays, and oh, my beloved guys, behold, I FORGOT MY DISGRACEFUL KEY when I left home to hear holy mass. For the record, I am not even used to it. Bringing keys is not my kind of thing. I SWEAR TO GOD! Well, we never closed our house gate way back in Davao City and some one opens the gate every time I arrived in Manila. Therefore, key doesn’t play a vital role in my life not until here in Queen City of South. As y’know, I am staying with two of my work mates here in our staff house but the two of them went off to work whenever it’s holiday but your gayest bestfriend enjoys holidays as he wants to for he is entitled to have them.

Now, after hearing holy mass, t’was followed by doing some groceries at the nearest supermarket since I was in charge of preparing our dinner. T’was only when I reached home, I realized that I forgot my key. So, had to knock at the owner’s pad to ask for a duplicate but believe it or not, t’was new year’s day and she didn’t let me borrow it! FOR CHRIST’S SAKE, WAS THE DUPLICATE KEY EVEN A PART OF THEIR MEDIA NOCHE PLACED ON TOP OF PIG’S MOUTH? I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! HAHA. Thus, it led me going back again down town to see one of my house mates to borrow the key from her and Thank God, she was still on duty. After all these things happened, WHATTA A NEW YEAR, INDEED!

Y’know what, everyone? When I was inside the cab going home, I grasped the thought of how this effin key now plays a major role in my life…MAJOR!

FORGET EVERYTHING, YES! EVEN YOUR LIP BALM, BUT NOT THE KEY!!!
